Visa & Entry Requirements

CORONAVIRUS UPDATE

The Conference Organisers are carefully monitoring and assessing the development and potential impact of the Novel Coronavirus on the 8th Family Law & Children’s Rights Conference 2020 to be held in Singapore from 19-22 July 2020.

We wish to reassure all attendees that health and safety is our paramount concern and priority.

In the event that the conference is cancelled due to public health risks around the Coronavirus, registered attendees will be notified immediately and receive a full refund of their registration fees.

Attendees are recommended to take the necessary precautions before travelling and rely on their individual travel insurance where applicable.

Most foreigners entering into Singapore do not require a visa for entry and may be given a social visit pass for up to 30 days upon arrival in Singapore.

All visitors require a valid passport with at least 6 months validity.

For further assistance and information on visa and entry requirements, please check with the Immigration and Checkpoint Authority of Singapore (ICA).

Please note, visa application is the sole responsibility of the participant.  The LAWASIA Secretariat and conference organisers are unable to provide visa advice or assistance.  Should you require a letter of confirmation for visa purposes, please advise the secretariat by email or phone +61 2 9926 0165.

Letters to assist visa application will not be issued until full registration and payment is received and processed by the LAWASIA Secretariat / conference organisers.
